Training ride one



Sunday am off to north berwick along the coastal route, past the amusements on portobello promenade, the hum and murmur of cockenzie power station,light breaking through angry clouds. the click and whir of the gears shifting up as i find my rhythm . chasing the horizon the taste of salt and seaweed upon my lips.

50 miles start 11 stop 15, 4 hours @ 12.5 mph.

So the date is set for the weekend of the 8/9th June. I would be hugely grateful if you would like to sponsor me, you can find out how here. First training ride is this weekend, 40 miles to Dunbar, after which i might be regretting having thought up this...

the school so far / a time lapse movie



everything you see was paid for through fundraising by us and kind sponsors, the first phase cost £12,000 and the final phase will cost the same. All the money is used to buy materials as we provide all the labour free. We cant wait to get finished this summer to open for the autumn term

The route / the idea

The route 120 miles in one day cycling from edinburgh to scots gap. the aim to raise £1,200 pounds for our charity. As part of a drive to raise the last £12,000 we need to finish the school and community centre we are building in Tarlungeni, Romania. Ps. The map zooms and scrolls with your mouse
